Vedic Maths Multiply by 11 and 111 – Level 2 (Medium) Practice
This Level 2 set on Aptitude360 practises multiplying by 11 and 111 with neighbour-digit sums, squares of numbers made of 1s and powers of 11, exactly as taught in the Vedic Mathematics course video. Level 2 questions are bigger numbers, carries and simple exam-style framing. Every question has a worked solution that uses the same Vedic method step by step.
What the three levels cover
- Multiplying any number by 11 by adding neighbouring digits from right to left
- Multiplying by 111 with three-digit window sums and carries
- Squares of numbers made only of 1s and their square roots
- Powers of 11 for quick compound interest at 10%
- Missing-digit and digit-sum questions built on the ×11 and ×111 patterns
The method in short
- Write the last digit, add neighbouring pairs (×11) or triples (×111) moving left, then write the first digit, carrying whenever a sum reaches 10.
- \( 11^{2}=121,\ 11^{3}=1331,\ 11^{4}=14641 \)
- \( 1111^{2}=1234321 \): count up to the number of 1s and back down.
Who should take this set
Students preparing for SSC, bank, CAT and other aptitude exams who want faster mental calculation. Watch the lesson video first, then try Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 in order.
