Normal practice, or a Simulated test

Both use the same questions. Normal practice is untimed and needs no account: choose an option and the answer and solution appear at once. The Simulated test is the real computer-based format, with one 35-minute clock, a question palette and full screen, and your score, the key and the solutions arrive when you submit.

  • Question palette. Answered, not answered and marked for review, section by section, as the real interface has it.
  • Full screen, proctored. The test takes over the screen; leaving it three times submits the paper.
  • Answers hidden until you submit. The key, the explanations and your score all arrive together at the end.

FAQs about Poverty, Unemployment and Major Schemes – GK Quiz with Answers – Level 3

What is disguised unemployment?
Disguised unemployment occurs when more people are engaged in a job than are actually needed, so removing some of them does not reduce output. It is common in Indian agriculture, where many family members work on the same small farm.
What is the poverty line based on in India?
The poverty line is based on the money needed to meet minimum food needs, measured in calories, along with basic non-food needs such as clothing and shelter. Rural calorie needs are set higher because rural work is usually more physically demanding.
What is the difference between MSP and buffer stock?
MSP is a price announced by the government before sowing at which it buys grain from farmers. Buffer stock is the store of wheat and rice that the FCI builds from this procurement, used for distribution to the poor and during shortages.
What is Antyodaya Anna Yojana?
Antyodaya Anna Yojana is a food scheme for the poorest of the poor families, giving them foodgrains at highly subsidised prices through the public distribution system.
