Normal practice, or a Simulated test

Both use the same questions. Normal practice is untimed and needs no account: choose an option and the answer and solution appear at once. The Simulated test is the real computer-based format, with one 30-minute clock, a question palette and full screen, and your score, the key and the solutions arrive when you submit.

How the two modes differ
No account needed

Normal

Untimed

Every question on one page, loading as you scroll. Choose an option and see straight away whether it was right.

  • No timer. Nothing to start and nothing to submit. Stop whenever you like.
  • Answered as you choose. Tap an option and it is marked at once, with the correct answer shown.
  • Solutions in place. The explanation, and the video where one has been added, sit under the question.
  • Open to guests. Normal practice needs no sign-in.
Real exam conditions

Simulated

Timed CBT

The computer-based test format: one clock, a question palette, and a score the moment you submit.

  • A clock that does not pause. 30 minutes from the moment you begin, and the paper is submitted for you when it reaches zero.
  • Question palette. Answered, not answered and marked for review, section by section, as the real interface has it.
  • Full screen, proctored. The test takes over the screen; leaving it three times submits the paper.
  • Answers hidden until you submit. The key, the explanations and your score all arrive together at the end.

  • Groups that resisted Mughal rule, such as Sikhs, Jats, Satnamis and Bundelas

Preparation tips for statement and chronology questions

  • Build a single timeline from Babur to Aurangzeb so that ordering questions take seconds
  • Learn the exact details of each fact, such as who did what, where and under which emperor, so you can spot a statement with one wrong detail
  • Revise the duties of suba officers as pairs, since matching questions mix them up

FAQs about Mughal Empire – GK Quiz with Answers – Level 2

What was the mansabdari system of the Mughals?
The mansabdari system gave every noble a rank called a mansab, made up of zat and sawar. Zat fixed his rank and salary, while sawar was the number of cavalrymen he had to maintain.
What was the zabt system of Akbar?
Zabt was the revenue system worked out under Akbar's revenue minister Todar Mal. It fixed a cash tax on each crop, based on a careful survey of crop yields, prices and the area cultivated.
What is the difference between a jagir and a watan jagir?
A jagir was a revenue assignment given to a mansabdar in place of salary, and it was usually transferable. A watan jagir was the homeland returned to a defeated Rajput ruler who accepted Mughal authority, held as a hereditary assignment.
Why did wars of succession happen in the Mughal Empire?
The Mughals did not follow primogeniture, where the eldest son inherits. They followed the Timurid custom of dividing the inheritance among all sons, so princes often fought each other for the throne.
