Normal practice, or a Simulated test

Both use the same questions. Normal practice is untimed and needs no account: choose an option and the answer and solution appear at once. The Simulated test is the real computer-based format, with one 35-minute clock, a question palette and full screen, and your score, the key and the solutions arrive when you submit.

How the two modes differ
No account needed

Normal

Untimed

Every question on one page, loading as you scroll. Choose an option and see straight away whether it was right.

  • No timer. Nothing to start and nothing to submit. Stop whenever you like.
  • Answered as you choose. Tap an option and it is marked at once, with the correct answer shown.
  • Solutions in place. The explanation, and the video where one has been added, sit under the question.
  • Open to guests. Normal practice needs no sign-in.
Real exam conditions

Simulated

Timed CBT

The computer-based test format: one clock, a question palette, and a score the moment you submit.

  • A clock that does not pause. 35 minutes from the moment you begin, and the paper is submitted for you when it reaches zero.
  • Question palette. Answered, not answered and marked for review, section by section, as the real interface has it.
  • Full screen, proctored. The test takes over the screen; leaving it three times submits the paper.
  • Answers hidden until you submit. The key, the explanations and your score all arrive together at the end.

About this test

Ghazni and Ghori Invasions Level 3 GK Quiz: Chronology and Match the List

Level 3 of the Arab and Turkish invasions series is an advanced medieval history set that tests the full sweep from the Arab conquest of Sindh to Muhammad Ghori's campaigns. It relies on multi-statement checks, match-the-list grids and event sequencing. On Aptitude360, each answer carries a full explanation.

Areas examined in this Level 3 set

  • Arab conquest of Sindh: Chachnama, Hajjaj, King Dahar and the cities taken
  • Mahmud of Ghazni's reign, regions under his control, raids and capital
  • Al-Biruni's languages, his status at Ghazni and the contents of Kitab-ul-Hind
  • Delhi before the Sultans: Tomaras, Chauhans, Dehliwal coins and Chauhan expansion
  • Ghori's campaigns from Multan and Tabarhinda to Tarain and Chandawar, and later Turkish control of Delhi
  • Wider medieval links such as temple locations and writers like Minhaj Siraj and Ibn Battuta

Key concepts for hard invasion questions

  • Gaps in years between major events, which reward exact dates
  • Common traps, such as calling Muhammad bin Qasim a Turk or placing Delhi's rise too early
  • Contrast between Mahmud's raids and Ghori's conquest
  • Pairs of texts, places and people that look alike but differ in detail

How to prepare for advanced invasion questions

  • Memorise exact years for each battle and reign so you can work out gaps quickly
  • Read every statement for qualifier words such as first, main and both
  • Revise cities captured by more than one invader, such as Multan

Who this Level 3 quiz suits

This level suits candidates who have finished the earlier levels and want UPSC-style practice on medieval Indian history.
