Vedic Maths Squares of Numbers 26 to 49 – Level 3 (Hard) Practice
This Level 3 set on Aptitude360 practises squares of 26 to 49 with the base 50 method and the last-digit rule for perfect squares, exactly as taught in the Vedic Mathematics course video. Level 3 questions are exam-level speed questions for CAT, SSC and bank exams where the trick saves real time. Every question has a worked solution that uses the same Vedic method step by step.
What the three levels cover
- Squares of numbers from 26 to 49 by the base 50 method
- Handling the carry when \( x^{2} \) has three digits
- The last-digit test: squares never end in 2, 3, 7 or 8
- Areas, perimeters and square formations using these squares
- Least number to add or subtract to reach a perfect square
The method in short
- For \( n = 50 - x \): \( n^{2} \) is \( (25 - x) \) followed by \( x^{2} \) written as two digits.
- \( (50 - x)^{2} = 100(25 - x) + x^{2} \)
Who should take this set
Students preparing for SSC, bank, CAT and other aptitude exams who want faster mental calculation. Watch the lesson video first, then try Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 in order.
