Normal practice, or a Simulated test

Both use the same questions. Normal practice is untimed and needs no account: choose an option and the answer and solution appear at once. The Simulated test is the real computer-based format, with one 35-minute clock, a question palette and full screen, and your score, the key and the solutions arrive when you submit.

How the two modes differ
No account needed

Normal

Untimed

Every question on one page, loading as you scroll. Choose an option and see straight away whether it was right.

  • No timer. Nothing to start and nothing to submit. Stop whenever you like.
  • Answered as you choose. Tap an option and it is marked at once, with the correct answer shown.
  • Solutions in place. The explanation, and the video where one has been added, sit under the question.
  • Open to guests. Normal practice needs no sign-in.
Real exam conditions

Simulated

Timed CBT

The computer-based test format: one clock, a question palette, and a score the moment you submit.

  • A clock that does not pause. 35 minutes from the moment you begin, and the paper is submitted for you when it reaches zero.
  • Question palette. Answered, not answered and marked for review, section by section, as the real interface has it.
  • Full screen, proctored. The test takes over the screen; leaving it three times submits the paper.
  • Answers hidden until you submit. The key, the explanations and your score all arrive together at the end.

About this test

Modern Indian History GK Level 3: Ghadar Party, Revolutionaries and Home Rule

This Level 3 Modern Indian History GK quiz on Aptitude360 covers revolutionary nationalism after the Swadeshi movement, the Ghadar Party in North America and the Home Rule Leagues of Tilak and Annie Besant. Questions come in statement, chronology, pairing and match-the-list formats, and each one carries a detailed explanation.

What this revolutionary nationalism set covers

  • The Chapekar brothers of Poona and the Savarkar brothers' Mitramela and Abhinav Bharat
  • Anushilan and Jugantar in Bengal, and Khudiram Bose and Prafulla Chaki at Muzaffarpur
  • Indian revolutionaries in Europe: Shyamji Krishna Varma, Madame Cama, Ajit Singh and Madan Lal Dhingra
  • Rashbehari Bose and the planned attack on Viceroy Lord Hardinge in Delhi
  • Lala Har Dayal, Sohan Singh Bhakna, the Hindi Association at Portland and the Yugantar Ashram
  • Gurdit Singh's Komagata Maru voyage against Canada's immigration laws
  • The Home Rule Leagues, Belgaum and Adyar, the Lucknow Pact and repression after the Surat split

Key ideas behind Ghadar and Home Rule questions

  • Pairing each secret society with its region and founders
  • Linking Portland, Vancouver and Delhi to the events that took place there
  • Comparing the two Home Rule Leagues by leader, launch place and working area
  • Ordering events from the Barisal conference attack to the Congress-League pact

Revision tips for the revolutionary phase

  • Build one timeline from the Swadeshi movement to the Lucknow session and place every incident on it
  • Keep a person, organisation and place table, since match-the-list items mix all three
  • Learn names and regions together, such as Mitramela with Maharashtra and Anushilan with Bengal, so swapped pairs stand out

Who this Level 3 set suits

It suits UPSC, state PSC and SSC aspirants who already know the basics of the national movement and want tougher statement-based practice on this period.
