Normal practice, or a Simulated test

Both use the same questions. Normal practice is untimed and needs no account: choose an option and the answer and solution appear at once. The Simulated test is the real computer-based format, with one 30-minute clock, a question palette and full screen, and your score, the key and the solutions arrive when you submit.

How the two modes differ
No account needed

Normal

Untimed

Every question on one page, loading as you scroll. Choose an option and see straight away whether it was right.

  • No timer. Nothing to start and nothing to submit. Stop whenever you like.
  • Answered as you choose. Tap an option and it is marked at once, with the correct answer shown.
  • Solutions in place. The explanation, and the video where one has been added, sit under the question.
  • Open to guests. Normal practice needs no sign-in.
Real exam conditions

Simulated

Timed CBT

The computer-based test format: one clock, a question palette, and a score the moment you submit.

  • A clock that does not pause. 30 minutes from the moment you begin, and the paper is submitted for you when it reaches zero.
  • Question palette. Answered, not answered and marked for review, section by section, as the real interface has it.
  • Full screen, proctored. The test takes over the screen; leaving it three times submits the paper.
  • Answers hidden until you submit. The key, the explanations and your score all arrive together at the end.

About this test

Union Executive GK Quiz Level 2: PM, Ministers and Attorney General MCQs

Use this Level 2 quiz to check how well you can apply the rules on the Prime Minister, Council of Ministers and Attorney General in exam-style formats. Aptitude360 frames these questions as statement checks, match-the-list items, chronology and odd-one-out sets. Every question comes with an explanation.

What this Level 2 Council of Ministers set tests

  • Matching the Articles on the Union executive with their subjects
  • Clauses of the Article on ministers: ministry size cap, defector bar and the six-month rule
  • Effect of the Prime Minister's death compared with a single minister's resignation
  • Cabinet solidarity and features of collective responsibility
  • Features and limits of the Attorney General's office
  • Chronology of amendments on binding advice, reconsideration and ministry size
  • The Prime Minister's role as the link between the President and the Council

Key concepts behind the trickier polity questions

  • Executive action is taken in the name of the President, not the Prime Minister
  • Why the cap on ministry size was introduced and what it did not change
  • A minister can speak in either House but votes only in the House of which he is a member
  • Both ministers and the Attorney General may take part in the proceedings of Parliament

Revision tips for statement and matching questions

  • Judge each statement as true or false on its own before you look at the options
  • Make a timeline of the executive-related amendments to answer chronology questions quickly
  • For odd-one-out items, sort functions into those of the President and those of the Prime Minister
