Normal practice, or a Simulated test

Both use the same questions. Normal practice is untimed and needs no account: choose an option and the answer and solution appear at once. The Simulated test is the real computer-based format, with one 30-minute clock, a question palette and full screen, and your score, the key and the solutions arrive when you submit.

Every question on one page, loading as you scroll. Choose an option and see straight away whether it was right.

  • No timer. Nothing to start and nothing to submit. Stop whenever you like.
  • Answered as you choose. Tap an option and it is marked at once, with the correct answer shown.
  • Solutions in place. The explanation, and the video where one has been added, sit under the question.
  • Open to guests. Normal practice needs no sign-in.

Timed CBT

The computer-based test format: one clock, a question palette, and a score the moment you submit.

  • A clock that does not pause. 30 minutes from the moment you begin, and the paper is submitted for you when it reaches zero.
  • Question palette. Answered, not answered and marked for review, section by section, as the real interface has it.
  • Full screen, proctored. The test takes over the screen; leaving it three times submits the paper.
  • Answers hidden until you submit. The key, the explanations and your score all arrive together at the end.

About this test

Peasant and Tribal Movements Level 2 GK Quiz: Statement and Match Questions

This Level 2 quiz tests how well you understand the causes and results of peasant and tribal uprisings in colonial India, not only the names. On Aptitude360, the questions use statements, matching, chronology and odd-one-out formats on indigo planting, the Santhals, Birsa Munda, the Deccan ryots and forest policy. Every question comes with an explanation.

What the Level 2 peasant and tribal movements questions test

  • Features of the indigo revolt and why planters found it hard to expand nij cultivation
  • Findings of the Indigo Commission and how indigo output in Bengal changed after its report
  • Why the Santhals lost land in Damin-i-Koh and the districts carved out to form Santhal Pargana
  • Aims of Birsa Munda's movement, the groups he wanted to drive out, his sentence and the results of the movement
  • Matching tribal revolts with regions, including the Kols, Songram Sangma and the Bastar rebellion
  • Forest villages, Reserved Forests and the Forest Department's need for labour

Key concepts for statement-based history questions

  • The order of events from the indigo revolt to the Deccan revolt and Birsa Munda's release from jail
  • The government's response to the indigo revolt and the planters' later shift to Bihar
  • Why the forests were declared state property and how this affected tribal livelihoods
  • Champaran: who invited Gandhiji and what the campaign was directed against

How to prepare for match and chronology questions

  • Build a timeline that places each revolt in sequence instead of memorising isolated facts
  • For every movement, note who it opposed, since many odd-one-out options depend on this
  • Keep a short glossary of colonial terms such as nij, ryoti, satta and gomastha with their meanings

Who this level is meant for

It suits general awareness and history aspirants who have finished the basics and now want practice with multi-statement and matching questions.
