Normal practice, or a Simulated test

Both use the same questions. Normal practice is untimed and needs no account: choose an option and the answer and solution appear at once. The Simulated test is the real computer-based format, with one 35-minute clock, a question palette and full screen, and your score, the key and the solutions arrive when you submit.

How the two modes differ
No account needed

Normal

Untimed

Every question on one page, loading as you scroll. Choose an option and see straight away whether it was right.

  • No timer. Nothing to start and nothing to submit. Stop whenever you like.
  • Answered as you choose. Tap an option and it is marked at once, with the correct answer shown.
  • Solutions in place. The explanation, and the video where one has been added, sit under the question.
  • Open to guests. Normal practice needs no sign-in.
Real exam conditions

Simulated

Timed CBT

The computer-based test format: one clock, a question palette, and a score the moment you submit.

  • A clock that does not pause. 35 minutes from the moment you begin, and the paper is submitted for you when it reaches zero.
  • Question palette. Answered, not answered and marked for review, section by section, as the real interface has it.
  • Full screen, proctored. The test takes over the screen; leaving it three times submits the paper.
  • Answers hidden until you submit. The key, the explanations and your score all arrive together at the end.

About this test

Hard Non-Constitutional Bodies GK Quiz Level 3 for UPSC-Style Polity

This set checks whether you can reliably separate bodies created by an Act from those formed by an executive resolution. The Level 3 non-constitutional bodies quiz on Aptitude360 has hard multi-statement, matching and chronology questions on the CBI, CVC, NITI Aayog, NHRC, NCW and Lokpal. It also compares them with constitutional bodies such as the Election Commission.

Areas examined in the Level 3 non-constitutional bodies set

  • Instrument of creation: bodies that began through resolutions, those statutory from the start, and those that changed status
  • Event ordering: sequencing founding dates and Acts, including events in consecutive years
  • Matching: linking committees, Acts and roles, such as the Santhanam Committee and the DSPE Act
  • Composition: Lokpal members, NHRC Chairperson eligibility and NITI Aayog's Governing Council
  • Commissions compared: the NCW against the commissions for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes

Key concepts that decide the hard options

  • The CBI and the CVC both began through resolutions, but only the CVC later became statutory.
  • NITI Aayog came from a Union Cabinet resolution, not an Act.
  • Status at creation can differ from present status, a common trap in 'first set up' questions.
  • The Finance Commission is constitutional, while the Sarkaria Commission dealt with Centre-State relations.

Revision tips for advanced polity statements

  • Rule out an option as soon as one of its statements is false.
  • Keep the original mode of creation and the current status of each body in separate lists.
  • Revise dates as pairs of neighbouring events for earlier-later questions.

Who should take Level 3

It suits aspirants who have finished the first two levels and want tougher, UPSC-style Indian Polity statement practice.
