Normal practice, or a Simulated test

Both use the same questions. Normal practice is untimed and needs no account: choose an option and the answer and solution appear at once. The Simulated test is the real computer-based format, with one 35-minute clock, a question palette and full screen, and your score, the key and the solutions arrive when you submit.

How the two modes differ
No account needed

Normal

Untimed

Every question on one page, loading as you scroll. Choose an option and see straight away whether it was right.

  • No timer. Nothing to start and nothing to submit. Stop whenever you like.
  • Answered as you choose. Tap an option and it is marked at once, with the correct answer shown.
  • Solutions in place. The explanation, and the video where one has been added, sit under the question.
  • Open to guests. Normal practice needs no sign-in.
Real exam conditions

Simulated

Timed CBT

The computer-based test format: one clock, a question palette, and a score the moment you submit.

  • A clock that does not pause. 35 minutes from the moment you begin, and the paper is submitted for you when it reaches zero.
  • Question palette. Answered, not answered and marked for review, section by section, as the real interface has it.
  • Full screen, proctored. The test takes over the screen; leaving it three times submits the paper.
  • Answers hidden until you submit. The key, the explanations and your score all arrive together at the end.

About this test

DPSP and Fundamental Duties Practice Quiz for Polity Revision, Level 3

This Level 3 set sharpens fine distinctions in Part IV and Part IVA of the Indian Constitution: the Directive Principles of State Policy and the Fundamental Duties. Its multi-statement and match-the-list questions test close look-alikes, such as early childhood care versus the education duty. Aptitude360 explains every answer, so you can trace exactly which statement made an option wrong.

Areas examined in the Level 3 Directive Principles set

  • Article ranges, Part placement and the non-enforceability clause of the Directive Principles
  • Amendment-to-change pairs: duties added, property right removed, anti-defection law, education duty
  • Ascending order of Directive Principle articles by subject
  • Labour-related principles: living wage, equal pay, humane work conditions and maternity relief
  • Which listed items are real Fundamental Duties and which are not, such as voting
  • Implementation steps like bank nationalisation, zamindari abolition and mid-day meals

Concepts that separate a strong polity answer

  • Living wage under one article versus standard of living under another
  • Early childhood care as a state principle versus the parental education duty
  • Enforceability contrast between Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles
  • Panchayati raj and the right to education as later realisations of Directive Principles

Revision tips for multi-statement polity questions

  • Judge each statement on its own before reading the options
  • List pairs of similar-sounding provisions side by side and note the one word that differs
  • Revise which amendment made each change, since swapped amendment pairs are a common trap

Who will benefit from this DPSP and Fundamental Duties set

Polity aspirants who have finished the earlier levels and want a final revision round on Directive Principles and Fundamental Duties will benefit most.

FAQs about DPSP and Fundamental Duties – GK Quiz with Answers – Level 3

Are DPSP and Fundamental Duties non justiciable?
Yes. Article 37 states that the Directive Principles are not enforceable by any court, and the Constitution lays down no direct method for enforcing the Fundamental Duties. Parliament can, however, give effect to both through ordinary laws.
What is the difference between DPSP and Fundamental Duties?
The Directive Principles in Part IV are guidelines addressed to the State for making laws and policies. The Fundamental Duties in Part IVA, under Article 51A, are obligations placed on citizens.
Which amendment removed right to property from Fundamental Rights?
The 44th Amendment of 1978 removed the right to property from the list of Fundamental Rights. It is now a constitutional right under Article 300A.
Is voting a Fundamental Duty in India?
No. Casting a vote is not listed among the Fundamental Duties in Article 51A. Voting is a right of eligible citizens, not a constitutional duty.
