Normal practice, or a Simulated test

Both use the same questions. Normal practice is untimed and needs no account: choose an option and the answer and solution appear at once. The Simulated test is the real computer-based format, with one 30-minute clock, a question palette and full screen, and your score, the key and the solutions arrive when you submit.

How the two modes differ
No account needed

Normal

Untimed

Every question on one page, loading as you scroll. Choose an option and see straight away whether it was right.

  • No timer. Nothing to start and nothing to submit. Stop whenever you like.
  • Answered as you choose. Tap an option and it is marked at once, with the correct answer shown.
  • Solutions in place. The explanation, and the video where one has been added, sit under the question.
  • Open to guests. Normal practice needs no sign-in.
Real exam conditions

Simulated

Timed CBT

The computer-based test format: one clock, a question palette, and a score the moment you submit.

  • A clock that does not pause. 30 minutes from the moment you begin, and the paper is submitted for you when it reaches zero.
  • Question palette. Answered, not answered and marked for review, section by section, as the real interface has it.
  • Full screen, proctored. The test takes over the screen; leaving it three times submits the paper.
  • Answers hidden until you submit. The key, the explanations and your score all arrive together at the end.

Aptitude360 explains every answer.

What this Level 2 set on British India Acts tests

  • Features of Crown rule and what the title of Viceroy signified
  • British thinking behind the Indian Councils Act after the revolt
  • Reserved versus transferred subjects and why the all-India federation never took shape

Question types and concepts to prepare

  • Multi-statement questions that mix correct and incorrect provisions of one Act

  • Note which body each Act created or abolished to eliminate options quickly

FAQs about Constitutional Development: Acts of 1773 to 1935 – GK Quiz with Answers – Level 2

Which Charter Act ended the East India Company's trade monopoly?
The Charter Act of 1813 ended the Company's monopoly of trade with India, except for trade in tea and with China. The Charter Act of 1833 later ended its trading activities altogether.
Why was Pitt's India Act passed?
Pitt's India Act was passed to correct the defects of the Regulating Act and bring the Company's political affairs under closer government control. It created the Board of Control alongside the Court of Directors.
Why was the federation under the Government of India Act 1935 never formed?
The federation depended on princely states agreeing to join it. Enough states never joined, so the federal part of the Act was never brought into force.
What changed in India after the Government of India Act 1858?
Rule passed from the East India Company to the British Crown. The Governor-General was also called the Viceroy, a Secretary of State for India was appointed, and the Board of Control and Court of Directors were abolished.
