  CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2027: Who Can Apply? (Full Guide)

  To apply for CMAT 2027, candidates must be Indian citizens holding a recognized bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) for AICTE-approved MBA/PGDM admissions. Final-year students are eligible to apply. There is no age limit and no restriction on the number of attempts. Work experience is not mandatory. Degrees from UGC/AICTE-recognized distance universities (such as IGNOU) are fully accepted.

  Is CMAT Easier Than CAT? Honest Comparison for 2027 Aspirants

  Individually, CMAT questions in quantitative techniques, logical reasoning, and language comprehension are significantly easier and more direct than CAT. However, CMAT is not necessarily easier to convert: it has zero sectional timers, demands an 80%+ raw score for a 99 percentile, and tests General Awareness plus Innovation & Entrepreneurship (40% of the paper), which are absent in CAT. While CAT rewards tactical question skipping, CMAT is an unforgiving game of near-perfect accuracy.
