Normal practice, or a Simulated test

Both use the same questions. Normal practice is untimed and needs no account: choose an option and the answer and solution appear at once. The Simulated test is the real computer-based format, with one 15-minute clock, a question palette and full screen, and your score, the key and the solutions arrive when you submit.

How the two modes differ
No account needed

Normal

Untimed

Every question on one page, loading as you scroll. Choose an option and see straight away whether it was right.

  • No timer. Nothing to start and nothing to submit. Stop whenever you like.
  • Answered as you choose. Tap an option and it is marked at once, with the correct answer shown.
  • Solutions in place. The explanation, and the video where one has been added, sit under the question.
  • Open to guests. Normal practice needs no sign-in.
Real exam conditions

Simulated

Timed CBT

The computer-based test format: one clock, a question palette, and a score the moment you submit.

  • A clock that does not pause. 15 minutes from the moment you begin, and the paper is submitted for you when it reaches zero.
  • Question palette. Answered, not answered and marked for review, section by section, as the real interface has it.
  • Full screen, proctored. The test takes over the screen; leaving it three times submits the paper.
  • Answers hidden until you submit. The key, the explanations and your score all arrive together at the end.

SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 Reasoning PYQ 15 Sep Shift 3 Question Paper

For SSC CGL aspirants at the previous-year practice stage, this is the General Intelligence and Reasoning section of the Tier 1 paper held on 15 September 2025, Shift 3. It covers analogies, series, coding, ranking and blood relations. Aptitude360 includes a worked solution for every question.

What the 15 Sep 2025 Shift 3 Reasoning section tests

  • Word analogy based on the relation between a substance and its use
  • Letter-cluster series and number series built on changing differences
  • Coding-decoding by letter shifts and letter rearrangement
  • Alphabetical ordering and positions of letters in a word
  • Row ranking from the left and right ends
  • Blood relations, including symbol-coded relations
  • Odd one out, address matching and mathematical operator substitution

Key reasoning rules for SSC CGL Tier 1

  • Reverse alphabet position: \( 27-p \)
  • One person, L-th from left and R-th from right: \( N=L+R-1 \)
  • Between two, L-th from left standing left of R-th from right: \( N-(L+R) \)
  • Products of consecutive numbers: \( T_{n}=n(n+1) \)
  • After operator substitution: \( \times \) and \( \div \) left to right, then \( + \) and \( - \) left to right

How to prepare for SSC CGL reasoning questions

  • Write out the differences between terms of a number series before guessing the pattern.
  • Draw a family tree with gender symbols for every blood relation question.
  • Memorise letter positions from both ends of the alphabet to speed up coding questions.
