Normal practice, or a Simulated test

Both use the same questions. Normal practice is untimed and needs no account: choose an option and the answer and solution appear at once. The Simulated test is the real computer-based format, with one 50-minute clock, a question palette and full screen, and your score, the key and the solutions arrive when you submit.

How the two modes differ
No account needed

Normal

Untimed

Every question on one page, loading as you scroll. Choose an option and see straight away whether it was right.

  • No timer. Nothing to start and nothing to submit. Stop whenever you like.
  • Answered as you choose. Tap an option and it is marked at once, with the correct answer shown.
  • Solutions in place. The explanation, and the video where one has been added, sit under the question.
  • Open to guests. Normal practice needs no sign-in.
Real exam conditions

Simulated

Timed CBT

The computer-based test format: one clock, a question palette, and a score the moment you submit.

  • A clock that does not pause. 50 minutes from the moment you begin, and the paper is submitted for you when it reaches zero.
  • Question palette. Answered, not answered and marked for review, section by section, as the real interface has it.
  • Full screen, proctored. The test takes over the screen; leaving it three times submits the paper.
  • Answers hidden until you submit. The key, the explanations and your score all arrive together at the end.

About this test

JIPMAT 2025 DILR PYQ: Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation Questions

Use this set to check how well your reasoning methods hold up on the actual JIPMAT 2025 Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning section. It covers verbal and non-verbal reasoning puzzles along with table and pie-chart data sets from the 2025 paper. Aptitude360 explains every problem through a worked solution.

What the JIPMAT 2025 DILR section tests

  • Arrangements and relations: circular seating facing the centre, blood relations from a photograph statement, family puzzles
  • Coding and series: letter coding, letter-count codes, number and letter series, symbol substitution in equations
  • Logic: syllogisms with three conclusions, analogies, Venn diagram classification, meaningful word sequence, dictionary order
  • Non-verbal reasoning: dice positions, mirror and water images, figure series, counting squares and rectangles
  • Applied puzzles: direction sense walks, a watch gaining time, painted cube cut into smaller cubes
  • Data interpretation: city-wise exam results table, degree-wise family expenditure chart, faculty table by department

Key concepts to revise for JIPMAT reasoning

  • In circular arrangements facing the centre, left means clockwise and right means anticlockwise.
  • For dice, two faces seen together in one position can never be opposite each other.
  • A mirror image swaps left and right; a water image swaps top and bottom.
  • In a pie chart drawn in degrees, the full circle stands for the total amount.
  • In a painted cube cut into smaller cubes, corner pieces have three painted faces and the inner core has none.

Preparation tips for DILR problems

  • Draw the seating circle or family tree before reading the options.
  • For syllogisms, try every Venn diagram consistent with the statements; a conclusion follows only if no counterexample exists.
  • In tables, calculate only what is asked and approximate where the options are far apart.

Who this DILR set suits

JIPMAT aspirants who have learnt the standard reasoning types and want to see how they were framed in the 2025 paper.

FAQs about JIPMAT 2025 Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning PYQs

What types of reasoning questions come in JIPMAT?
The 2025 paper had seating arrangement, blood relations, coding-decoding, series, syllogisms, analogies, dice, mirror and water images, direction sense and Venn diagrams.
How do you find the opposite face of a dice?
Compare positions that share a common visible face. Faces shown adjacent to a number cannot be opposite it, and the face left after elimination is the opposite one.
What is the difference between mirror image and water image?
A mirror image reverses a figure from left to right, while a water image reverses it from top to bottom.
How do you convert pie chart degrees into amounts?
Divide the sector's angle by three hundred and sixty and multiply by the total amount. A sector of ninety degrees, for example, is one quarter of the total.
