Quiz Details
At Level 4, the traditional family tree is no longer sufficient. Questions are designed to be "information-sparse," requiring candidates to solve for multiple unknown variables (Age, Profession, City, and Relation) simultaneously while navigating conditional "If-Then" statements that change the family structure based on different scenarios.
Syllabus & Core Question Types:
Binary Logic & Blood Relations: Puzzles involving family members where some always tell the truth, some always lie, and some alternate (e.g., "A says B is my father; B says A is my son; one is lying").
Seating with Dynamic Relations: 8–10 people in a circular or square arrangement where their positions are defined by their relations, but their relations are also defined by their positions (e.g., "The person sitting opposite X is X's maternal uncle's only sister").
Generational Probability: Problems requiring the calculation of the minimum or maximum number of males/females in a 4-generation family based on restrictive constraints like "each couple has at least one son and one daughter."
Coded Relations with Operations: Advanced coded sets where symbols represent both a relation and a mathematical operation (e.g., "A @ B means A is the father of B and A's age is twice B's age").
