CAT vs SNAP 2026: Which Exam Should You Choose
CAT is the better choice if you want access to the widest range of MBA colleges, including the IIMs, IITs and 1,000+ CAT-accepting B-schools. SNAP is the better choice if you specifically want to target Symbiosis institutes such as SIBM Pune, SCMHRD and other participating SIU programmes. For most serious MBA aspirants, preparing for both CAT and SNAP is the strongest strategy because the core syllabus overlaps substantially, while SNAP adds a separate speed-based challenge and, in 2026, a new 10-question Ethics, Morality and Values section.
