Puzzle Test Problems Level-3

Level 3 puzzles are not just tests of logic, but of mental stamina and systematic case-building. In this module, the information is intentionally "sparse," forcing candidates to identify "invisible" constraints and work with multiple valid possibilities until further clues eliminate them.

• Syllabus & Core Question Types:

  • Complex Matrix with 4+ Variables: Matching 8 individuals with their professions, cities, favorite hobbies, and a numerical variable like "years of experience" or "salary."

  • Games and Tournaments: Puzzles based on Round Robin or Knockout tournaments, requiring candidates to deduce scores and match results (e.g., "Team A beat the team that finished 3rd, but lost to the winner").

  • 3D Seating Arrangements: Two parallel rows facing each other where people also have different attributes, or circular arrangements where some face the center and others face outward.

  • Scheduling with Constraints: Planning 10 lectures or flights across 5 days and 2 different time slots, with complex "between" and "immediately before/after" conditions.

  • Network & Routes: Puzzles involving one-way and two-way paths between cities, often combined with "travel time" or "cost" optimization.

• Exam Pattern & Strategy:

  • Total Questions: 50.

  • Ideal Time: 100–120 Minutes.

  • Difficulty: Extremely High.

  • The "Master" Strategy: At Level 3, the "Table" method often fails. Candidates must use Branching Trees to track 2 or 3 simultaneous "Cases." If a clue says "A or B," you must create a separate diagram for both possibilities immediately.
